James Poggione

Coach Poggione is in his fifth season with the Vaqueros in 2021. He says coaching has always been his passion.

Poggione has coached football for 13 years, including five at Oaks Christian High as the defensive line coach. His coaching background includes working for the USA Football National Team as a defensive line coach as well as working for Terry Donahue at the California Showcase, an event that gives graduating high school seniors a chance to show off their skills to more than 200 Division 2, 3, NAIA, and Community Colleges in the country.

His professional background includes working as a behavioralist for an individual with autism and speaking at conferences on how to personalize a behavioral plan and how to implement it effectively.
