OXNARD, CA - The Santa Barbara City College Men's Golf team earned 4th place at Monday's WSC #1 at River Ridge Golf Club, hosted by Ventura College.
Finishing with a team score of 390, the Vaqueros were 6 strokes behind third place Bakersfield (384).
Sophomore Jacob Aaron shot a 74, tied for fourth of all 48 golfers. Vicente Rodriguez was right off his score at 75.
The rest of the team all finished in the low-80s, with Theodore Lohrer and Eric Means at 80, Carson Mercier at 81, and Jack Blinderman at 84.
The Vauqeros hope to host the second league tie at Alisal Ranch in Solvang next Monday, weather permitting.
