SANTA MARIA, CA – The Santa Barbara City College Men's Golf team finished a tight 2nd place at Monday's WSC #2 at Santa Maria Country Club, hosted by Allan Hancock.

With a team score of 382, the Vaqueros edged out Ventura (383) and Glendale (384) by just 1 and 2 strokes, respectively.

Jack Blinderman was the 5th best golfer of all 48 on the day, and the best Vaquero with a score of 74. His teammates were all solid, too; no Vaquero had a score above 78, and SBCC was the only team to boast that fact.

Eric Means shot a 76, with Jacob Aaron and Vicente Rodriguez shooting 77. John Kelleher finished at 78 to round out the group.
