Men's Golf Finishes 6th at Brookside

PASADENA, CA – The Santa Barbara City College Men's Golf team had a tough day Monday at Brookside Golf Course, finishing 6th of 8 teams shooting 392.

Vicente Rodriguez was a bright spot for the Vaqueros shooting a 73, tied for 8th amongst all 48 golfers. Rodriguez led the team last week at Sandpiper with a 74.

Michael Gentry also shot sub-80 with a score of 78, as did Jacob Aaron and John Kelleher with 79s. Jack Blinderman and Theodore Lohrer each shot 83.

"We will need to focus and mentally prepare for our next match," head coach Ernie Carrasco said.

SBCC will tee it up again, on their usual Monday schedule, April 1 at Antelope Valley Country Club in Palmdale.
