Sadiki Johnson picked a good time to score his first goal of the year as he found the net in the 90th minute on Friday afternoon to give SBCC a 2-1 WSC North men's soccer victory over Moorpark.

Johnson, a freshman forward from Westbury, N.Y., came in from the right flank, took a pass from Nicolas Genthon and beat the keeper. Moorpark (3-7-3, 0-3-1) took a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute and the Vaqueros (7-6, 2-2) answered in the 22nd minute with a goal by Jessie Jimenez.

"Ten minutes before Sadiki scored, he was in the exact same spot and he smashed one over the bar," said coach John Sisterson. "We started off a little shaky but I thought we were the better team for most of the match.

"I was delighted that we kept fighting right through the 90th minute and extra time. Championship teams never give up."

The Vaqueros will be home on Tuesday when they host Santa Monica at 7:30 p.m.
