Genthon makes All-State; 10 Vaqueros on All-WSC team

Nicolas Genthon was selected to the CCCAA All-State men's soccer team and 10 Vaqueros made the All-WSC North squad.

Genthon, a 6-foot sophomore defender from Houston, Texas, directed a Vaquero defense that allowed just 23 goals in 19 games (1.2 avg.) with six shutouts.

SBCC went 10-8-1 overall and tied for second in the WSC North at 5-4-1.

Freshman midfielder Carlos Espinoza, the team's top scorer with six goals and 14 points, made the All-WSC first team, along with Jessie Jimenez, Yaya Gassama and goalie Shane Pitcock

Callum Challinor (five goals), Jelan Hutton and Victor Chavez were second-team choices. Matthew Wilkinson and William Joyce made honorable mention.
