Sekban returns in 9-0 win over Victor Valley

Emerson Sekban returned from injury to win two matches on Tuesday as SBCC blanked Victor Valley 9-0 for the second time this year in men's tennis.

Sekban, a sophomore from Oxford, England, had missed the previous four matches. He swept Sean Elliott 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and teamed with Diego Santos for an 8-5 triumph at No. 1 doubles.

Spencer Ekola and Shane Carmody pitched 6-0, 6-0  shutouts at Nos. 2 and 5 singles, respectively, for the Vaqueros (6-11, 4-5 WSC). Victor Valley is 0-10 and 0-6.

SBCC completes the regular season on Tuesday with a trip to Bakersfield for a 2 p.m. match.
