SBCC went 2-1 in doubles on Friday, then swept the first four singles to secure an 8-1 men's tennis win at Fullerton.

It was the second win over an Orange Empire Conference opponent in two days for the Vaqueros (2-3).

Guillaume Daurelle, Arthur Scharff, Pierre Alexandre Fumat and Albert Chami all won their singles in straight sets with a 48-15 game record. Scharff, a freshman from Belgium, and Chami, a freshman from Switzerland, won a tight 8-6 decision in doubles.

"That was a great No. 2 doubles, it was neck-and-neck the whole way," said coach Chris McBride. "It was tied 6-6 and our guys played two excellent games to pull the 8-6 win."

The Vaqueros open WSC play on Tuesday when they host L.A. Pierce at 2 p.m.
