Vaqueros fall in a close match with Glendale

Santa Barbara City College battled Glendale College in a back-and-forth tennis match Thursday, ultimately dropping the match 5-4 when Glendale pulled off an 8-2 win in second doubles.

The Vaqueros now stand at 4-8 on the year and 2-5 in WSC North play.

Key wins for the Vaqueros came in second singles when Albert Chami won a close three-set match and in third singles where Sebastian Moenster grabbed a win in two sets.

SBCC has two regular season matches remaining and is scheduled to return to the courts Saturday when they travel to San Diego Mesa for a 2:00 p.m. start, pending weather.
