Vaqueros blank Brahmas for first win, 9-0

SBCC only had to play three matches on Thursday to come away with its first men's tennis win of the season.

The Vaqueros (1-2) blanked a depleted L.A. Pierce squad 9-0 in the WSC opener in Woodland Hills. Pierce only had two eligible players.

Andres Decock and Ronan Casteleyn posted straight-set wins in singles, taking 24 of 28 games. Decock and Dominic Signorello cruised to an 8-1 win in the lone doubles match.

The Vaqueros will host Saddleback on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
