SBCC only had three players on Friday and Fullerton took advantage to post a 7-2 men's tennis win at Pershing Park.
The Vaqueros took the top two singles matches with Andres Decock of Belgium blanking Sergio Lee-Gutierrez 6-0, 6-0. Dominic Mariscal rallied past Rodrigo Ornate to take the No. 2 match, 1-6, 6-2, 6-4.
The Hornets evened their record at 8-8 while the Vaqueros fell to 4-9.
SBCC will travel to Bakersfield on Tuesday.
