Said-Kamal Webster won the 100 and 200 against strong competition on Saturday at the Westmont Collegiate Classic men's track and field meet.

Chris Aichinger and Kyle Whitaker tied for third in the pole vault at 4.45m. Their marks of 14 feet, 7¼ inches are No. 7 all-time in SBCC history.

The Vaqueros recorded 16 season bests.

"Coming off a really good weekend last week and going into spring break, I was pleased to see the men getting after it and competing hard," said coach Scott Fickerson. "Sometimes it's hard to be mentally focused on a weekend like this one but the men did well and got the job done."

The Vaqueros will compete in the WSC Coastal Meet on Friday at Cuesta, starting at 1 p.m.
