SBCC racked up 14 runs on a trio of homers in the first two innings of Tuesday's WSC Gold Division softball doubleheader at L.A. Pierce but it was all for naught as the Brahmas forfeited both games.

Pierce (0-8, 0-3) started the game with nine players. Their third baseman suffered an injury in the second inning and couldn't return, leaving them with eight players. The score of the forfeited games will be 7-0 and the stats won't count because the games didn't go five innings.

Danielle de Castro hit a three-run homer during a four-run first inning. Brianna Gill and Alice Cen each delivered three-run blasts in the second when the Vaqueros (8-7, 2-2) scored 10 times.

The Vaqueros will take on Hancock at Hagerman Park in Santa Maria on Thursday at 1 p.m.
