Alice Cen, Brianna Portese and Dakotah Wilcox had two hits apiece on Thursday and SBCC posted an 8-2 softball win at Moorpark.
Celeste Acosta pitched a six-hitter for the Vaqueros (13-12, 6-3 WSC) who broke open a 3-2 game with five runs in the last three innings. The Raiders fell to 6-16 and 2-6.
Acosta allowed two runs with six strikeouts and one walk.
"We played a lot better than we did Tuesday (in a doubleheader split at Oxnard)," said coach Paula Congleton. "We were much better on offense, we didn't commit an error and Celeste had a great day on the mound."
Emma Tegth Nordin gave SBCC a 2-1 lead with a two-run triple in the second. Cen had a double, scored twice and stole two bases.
SBCC will host the eight-team Bash at the Beach this weekend at Pershing Park with eight games each day. Play begins on two fields at 10 a.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday.
On Saturday, the Vaqueros will battle El Camino at noon and Fullerton at 3:45 p.m. They'll face Golden West on Sunday at 10:45 a.m., followed by a 2:15 p.m. game against East L.A.
