SBCC pitcher Celeste Acosta and shortstop Alice Cen have been named to the first-team All-WSC Gold Division softball team.
Outfielder Victoria Lucido was a second-team choice, along with third baseman Christal Vierra. Sophomores Brianna Portese and Amanda Caras were honorable mention.
Acosta, a sophomore from Sacramento, went 10-5 in conference play and ranked second in the conference in wins (10), ERA (1.44) and strikeouts (77). Cen, a sophomore from San Francisco, was the No. 7 hitter in the WSC Gold at .449.
Vierra hit .348 in conference and Lucido .340.
The Vaqueros won seven of their last nine to finish 22-16 overall and second in the conference at 13-5.
