SBCC played a "home" softball game at Oxnard on Thursday due to a scheduling conflict. After falling behind 3-0, the Vaqueros rallied to take a 5-4 lead in the fourth, only to see the Condors tie it in the top of the seventh on an RBI single by Destiny Murillo.

Santa Barbara (11-12, 3-5) earned a 6-5 walk-off win in the bottom of the seventh when pinch-hitter Leticia DeLeon walked with one out. She was forced out at second on a fielder's choice by Chloe Wells, who then stole second. The first baseman couldn't handle Emily Bland's ball and Wells scored the game-winner from second base.

Bland went 2-5 with an RBI and Sloane Greeley was 2-2 with an RBI. Greeley stole home in the third inning and drove in Wells with a fourth-inning single to make it 4-4. Madison Foster followed with a sacrifice fly that scored Bland and put the Vaqueros ahead 5-4.

Isabella Gregson (6-4) pitched a complete game for the Vaqueros, giving up five runs (four earned) and six hits with three walks and a strikeout.

"Isabella pitched well for us today," said coach Justine Bosio. "It had been a while since she's been able to pitch, so it was good for her to go out there and get a win.

"It was awesome to see the whole team come together and do their jobs when asked. We took advantage of the opportunities they gave us on the bases. That is how we were able to score our winning run in the bottom of the seventh."

The Vaqueros will play a doubleheader at Canyons on Saturday at 12 and 2 p.m. in Santa Clarita.
