Justine Bosio

Justine started coaching with the Vaqueros in 2015-16 and was named head coach on July 26, 2017. She'll start her third season in 2020.

The Vaqueros enjoyed their best playoff run in history in her first year on the staff. They went 30-14 in 2016, won a Regional series for the first time and advanced to the four-team Super Regional, where they placed seventh in Southern California.

Coach Bosio was born and raised in Santa Barbara. She had a spectacular career at Dos Pueblos High, earning Channel League MVP, County Pitcher of the Year and first-team All-CIF honors as a senior. She was a California Scholarship Federation National Honors Society Scholar-Athlete and also played varsity basketball.

Justine received a softball scholarship to Colorado State University-Pueblo. During her time at CSU-Pueblo, she pitched all four years and compiled an overall record of 57-31. Justine received All-American honors in 2010, hitting .353 with 9 homers and going 20-10 in the circle with a 2.87 ERA. She ended her career as the all-time leader in homers (39) and RBIs (186).
Justine graduated in 2013 with her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion and Recreation with a minor in Education. She attended North Central University and got her Masters in Special Education in 2016.
