Michelle starts her third year as an assistant in 2017-18. She started her basketball career as a three-time letterman at Santa Ynez High from 2006-10. She then attended SBCC from 2010-13 and was awarded All Conference as a sophomore and was captain of our 2012-13 team. She hit the game-winning 3-pointer to snap Ventura College's 121-game home winning streak dating back to 1991.
After SBCC, she earned an academic scholarship and transferred to Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Mass., to fulfill her academic and athletic endeavors.
Coach Sandrine Krul has had the pleasure of teaching and coaching Michelle. "What she brings to our staff, just like she did as a player, is an incredible amount of enthusiasm for productivity," said Krul. "Her skill set to be highly organized and disciplined transfers nicely over to our team members. Michelle helps all of us stay focused and centered on the goals and objectives of practice and games."
Michelle completed her Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management while at Eastern Nazarene and will begin her Masters Degree in Exercise Science at CSUN in 2017.
