Carolin Chang has been chosen female State Athlete of the Month for November by the California Community College Athletic Association and the California Community College Sports Information Association.

The freshman golfer from Taiwan won the WSC Finals, Southern Cal Regional and CCCAA State Individual championship in November. She shot 76 and 75 for a 36-hole total of 7-over 151 in the State Finals at Morro Bay GC to beat the field by three shots.
Chang helped SBCC capture its second State title in the last three years and fourth in 10 years.
She won eight of 14 tournaments and finished in the top three in 13 of 14 appearances. She posted a 75.7 average in November and had a 73.4 average for the season.
