Stephanie Farouze carded an 82 on Monday and tied for fourth in the fourth WSC women's golf tournament at par-72 San Dimas Canyon GC.
Canyons won its fourth straight WSC tourney and the Vaqueros were second for the fourth straight time. The Cougars totaled 315 strokes and beat SBCC (345) by 30 shots. Bakersfield was third at 378.
Haruka Koda of Canyons won her third WSC event at 1-under 71. Teammate Jessie Lin was second at 74 and Georgia Shevitt of Moorpark was third with an 80. Farouze finished in a three-way tie for fourth with her 82.
SBCC's Alexa Bleth, a freshman from Novato, Calif., shot her second-best round of the year (84) and took eighth. Corina Garcia was 11th at 89 and Lauren Calvin was 12th with a 90 for the Vaqueros (32-9).
Canyons leads the WSC standings at 20-0 and SBCC is four games back at 16-4.
The Vaqueros will host Mt. SAC in a dual match on Wednesday at the Alisal River Course in Solvang, starting at 11 a.m.
