SBCC was seeded 12th for the Southern Cal Regional women's soccer playoffs and will travel to No. 5 San Bernardino Valley for a first-round game on Saturday at 2 p.m.

    Southern Cal Regional bracket

The teams met earlier this year with the Wolverines (15-2-3) posting a 4-2 win over the Vaqueros (9-5-5) on Sept. 29 at La Playa Stadium.

San Bernardino is 9-0 at home and 7-1-2 in its last 10 games. The Wolverines blanked No. 1 seed Chaffey 1-0 in their last regular-season game on Nov. 10 to win the final Foothill Conference title with a 6-1-1 record. The Foothill Conference is disbanding after the 2015-16 season and the six teams will join other Southern Cal conferences, including the WSC.

SBVC has been a scoring machine this year, ranking No. 3 in the state with 79 goals and only giving up 12. The Vaqueros have scored 22 goals and allowed 15.

Leandra Garlinger scored two goals in the first meeting with the Vaqueros. She ranks No. 6 in the state with 21 goals. She also has nine assists and is ninth in the state with 51 points.

The Vaqueros, the third-place team from the WSC North (4-2-4), are making their sixth straight trip to the playoffs. They're led by Maria Solis (3 goals, 2 assists), Baylee Vincent (3 goals, 4 assists) and defender Lena Gustafsson.

The winner of Saturday's game will take on No. 4 Cerritos (18-0-3) or No. 13 Mt. San Jacinto (16-3) on Tuesday.
