High School: She attended Valhalla High in a suburb outside of downtown San Diego where she was a three-year varsity swimmer. She served as team captain her senior year and was a finalist in the CIF San Diego Section all three years. During her time on varsity, she was awarded the Most Improved, Most Valuable Player and Coaches Award. She graduated with honors and was in the top 25% of her graduating class.

2015: Reese was a member of the WSC Championship Water Polo Team. She will make big impacts in the pool this season. She will lead our Freestyle and Backstroke events. She has worked hard all year and has helped improve the culture of SBCC Aquatics.

Personal: Reese Ellestad was born on February 18, 1997 in San Diego, Calif. She is majoring in communications and minoring in environmental studies. After graduation, she hopes to work for a company and help them become more sustainable in their endeavors. Outside of SBCC swim, she enjoys hiking, listening to music, and hanging out at the beach.
