Vaqueros down AVC 7-2 for fifth straight win

SBCC won five of six singles on the way to a 7-2 women's tennis victory on Tuesday over Antelope Valley in Lancaster.

Tyler Bunderson and Madison Ortiz recorded singles and doubles wins for Santa Barbara (6-1, 3-0 WSC), which won its fifth straight match. Tyler Bunderson had to work overtime, winning her No. 2 singles match 10-8 in a second-set tiebreaker and then teaming with Lesly Zapata De Lira for a 9-8 (3) win at No. 2 doubles.

The Vaqueros travel to Bakersfield on Thursday for a 2 p.m. match.
