SBCC women's tennis player Madison Ortiz made first-team All-WSC in singles and doubles.
The freshman from Righetti High went 13-1 in doubles and 12-1 with partner Gabrielle Goss, a freshman from Santa Barbara High. Their only loss came on Saturday to the top-seeded team from Ventura in the WSC quarterfinals.

Tyler Bunderson was a second-team all-conference selection at No. 2 singles. No. 4 Kassandra Ortiz and No. 5 Goss also made the second team.
Mariko Sagara of Ventura was the MVP and Deo Sy of Glendale was the Coach of the Year.
Glendale won the WSC title with a perfect 10-0 record and Santa Barbara was second at 8-2.
The Vaqueros (11-3) were seeded No. 7 for the Southern Cal Team Regional and will open on Tuesday at No. 1 Cerritos (21-1).
