Vaqueros get two wins in team season finale

SBCC got two wins in one match on Tuesday as it blanked Victor Valley 9-0 in a WSC women's tennis match in Victorville. The match counted as two wins to make up for a previous match at SBCC that was rained out.

Laura Berther, Tyler Bunderson, Paige Jensen and Natasha Fleischer posted easy wins in the first four singles, losing just one game out of 49.

SBCC won its third straight and fifth in six matches to complete the regular season 12-6 overall and 6-6 in the WSC (fourth place).

The Vaqueros will compete in the WSC Individual Tournament on April 7-8 at Ventura College.
