SBCC won its fifth straight women's tennis match on Thursday with its first shutout – a 9-0 WSC triumph at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita.

The Vaqueros (5-1, 4-0) won the six singles in straight sets, dropping just 16 games. The doubles teams won 24 of 28 games.

"Katelyn Peyvandi played well (at No. 1 singles) and did a good job of keeping control of the match," said coach Christina Klein.
