Vaqueros cruise past Victor Valley, 9-0

SBCC rolled to a 9-0 women's tennis triumph on Tuesday at Pershing Park against a depleted Victor Valley team that only had four players.

It was the sixth straight win for the WSC-leading Vaqueros (6-1, 5-0), who won 64 of 69 games. Katelyn Peyvandi, Gabrielle Goss, Pia Valtierra and Hanna Pesniak took the top four singles in straight sets while posting a 48-4 game record.

The Vaqueros have a big first-place showdown with the Glendale Vaqueros (8-2, 6-0) on Thursday at the Pershing Park courts at 2 p.m.
