Vaqueros dominate Antelope Valley, 9-0

SBCC swept Antelope Valley 9-0 on Tuesday in a WSC women's tennis match at Lancaster.

The singles all won in straight sets, taking 68 of 72 games. No. 1 Katelyn Peyvandi and No. 4 Pia Valtierra dropped just two games in four singles sets, then posted an 8-0 shutout in the No. 1 doubles.

The Vaqueros improved to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the WSC, good for second place behind undefeated Glendale.

SBCC will travel to face powerhouse Cerritos (11-1) on Friday at 2 p.m.
