Santa Barbara City College ran into a very strong Orange Coast College women's tennis team on a hot streak and it was more than the Vaqueros could handle. The visiting Pirates swept SBCC, 9-0 at Pershing Park.
Santa Barbara (10-3, 8-1 WSC North) had their four-match winning streak snapped by an Orange Coast (12-1) team that has now swept its last three opponents by 9-0 results.
The Vaqueros will be back in action on Tuesday, March 13 when they take on Bakersfield at Pershing Park for a 2:00 p.m. start.
