Olivia Loy moved up to No. 2 on SBCC's all-time 200 list and No. 7 in the 100 with her season-best times of 24.97 and 12.54, respectively, on Saturday at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational women's track and field meet in Walnut.

The freshman from Anamosa, Iowa, was third in the 200 and just missed Valerie Simpson's 1987 school record by 0.15 seconds.

Anyel Thomas was fourth in the long jump with a PR of 5.15 meters (16-10¾) and Juliette Alliaume was fifth in the high jump at 1.51m. Alyssa Garrett ran a personal best of 1:08.86 in the 400 hurdles to rise to seventh on SBCC's all-time chart.

The Vaqueros took sixth in both relays. The 4 x 100 squad ran 50.13, the ninth-fastest time in school history. Loy led off, followed by Dominique Hinds, Marla Bonser and Jessica Escalante. The 4 x 400 relay of Hinds, Alyssa Garrett, Loy and Escalante was clocked in 4:09.14.

"Our jumpers had some of our highest places today," said coach Scott Fickerson. "Kudos to Juliette and Anyel on their top-5 finishes against some of the state's best. Olivia had a great day notching two season bests and moving up on our all-time lists."

The Vaqueros travel to Ventura for the WSC Prelims on Friday, then host the WSC Championships on Friday, April 24 at La Playa Stadium.
