SBCC's Hannah Arnold took fourth in the 100-meter dash on Friday at the Occidental Distance Carnival and Spring Break Classic track and field meet in Eagle Rock.
The freshman from Rocklin, Calif., tied her season best with a 12.50 clocking. Zoe Scott-Gross of Concordia was the winner in 12.19. SBCC's Molly Glassman took 22nd in the 42-runner field with a season-best 13.46.
The event, which was interrupted by two hours of rain, featured runners from four-year schools like Loyola Marymount, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State L.A., Cal Lutheran, Adams St. (Colo.) and Westmont as well as other community colleges and club athletes.
Tasleem Suttles was 13th in the long jump with a season-best of 4.73 meters (15-6¼) and Glassman was 19th at 4.45 meters.
Nicole Stevens placed 22nd in the 400 with a season-best time of 1:02.67 in a field of 46 runners. Ryann Rhodeman was 29th in 1:04.06.
The Vaqueros will compete in the Westmont Collegiate Classic on Saturday at 10 a.m.
