"Although it was an end to the season for many of our athletes, it was a great day to run, jump and throw amongst the state's best!" Coach Don Willis said after Friday competition at the SoCal Prelims, hosted by San Diego Mesa College. Several Vaqueros placed in the top 20 with top finishes from Sage Holter (2nd in the 10,000m with a PR of 37:50.85, a 3rd best SBCC All-Time mark) and Zia Frausto, who also qualified for SoCal Finals with an 8th place time of 60.33 in the 400m.
