SBCC was seeded No. 7 for the Southern Cal Regional women's volleyball playoffs and will host No. 10 Orange Coast (14-6) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Tuesday will be a doubleheader in the Sports Pavilion with men's basketball taking on Glendale in its home opener at 4 p.m. Both games will be live-streamed on the Internet with Ryan Graff calling the action on the Vaquero Broadcasting Network.

The Vaquero volleyball team (20-5) won its third straight WSC North title and fifth in six years by sweeping Cuesta last Wednesday. They've won five straight matches and 16 of their last 17.

Santa Barbara is making its sixth straight trip to the State playoffs. Last year, the Vaqueros won two postseason matches and finished fifth in the State.

Four WSC North teams made the Regional -- No. 7 SBCC, No. 12 Moorpark, No. 14 L.A. Pierce and No. 15 Ventura.

The Vaqueros are led by setter Madelon Leiphardt, the 2014 WSC North Player of the Year and All-Southern Cal Region selection. Her favorite targets are outside hitter Katelynn Womack (271 kills, 192 digs) and middle blocker Taylor Badois (164 kills, 70 blocks).

Orange Coast went 8-6 in the tough Orange Empire Conference and has dropped three of its last five matches. The Pirates are led by the 1-2 punch of Sierra Brown (188 kills, 146 digs) and Danyelle Brown (175 kills, 168 digs).

Tuesday's winner will advance to Saturday's second round against No. 2 Grossmont or No. 15 Ventura.
