Isabella Thompson has signed a national letter-of-intent to play volleyball for Auburn University in the Southeastern Conference.
Thompson, a 5-11 middle blocker from Stockton, Calif., was a two-time All-WSC North performer for the Vaqueros. She helped them to a 48-8 overall record the last two seasons and two WSC North titles with a 19-1 record.
The Vaqueros went 25-4 in 2015 and finished fifth in the state.
"Bella has a great love for the game as well as for her teammates," said coach Ed Gover. "She has an excellent work ethic and brings her best to practice every day.
"It is a fantastic opportunity for her to play and attend a great university like Auburn. Bella will do all that is asked of her as a player. It will be fun following the Auburn Tigers next year."
Thompson had 101 kills and 70 blocks in 2016, earning second team All-WSC North honors. Her 50 solo blocks were No. 2 in the conference.
