Matt Escobar

Matthew is entering his fifth year with the Vaqueros in 2021.

He was born and raised in Santa Barbara where he attended and played football for Santa Barbara High and graduated in 2013. Following high school, he attended and played football for the Vaqueros in the 2013 & 2014 seasons, playing various positions along the offensive line.

After his two years as a Vaq, Matthew decided to forgo his last two years of football due to an untimely injury. He took a coaching offer from Laguna Blanca High where he coached the Offensive Line in 2015 & 2016. In 2016, he became the Defensive Coordinator as well.
