SBCC landed six players on the All-WSC North men's soccer team, including four defenders.
2019 All-WSC North teams
Christopher Robinson and Neil Gillies were first-team choices. Robinson, a freshman forward from Sweden, led the Vaqueros with seven goals. Gillies, a sophomore defender from Perth, Australia, started at center back in all 38 of his Vaquero games in two seasons.
Sophomore defenders Alexander Foy of England and Santa Barbara High product JahMikaili Hutton made the second team. Freshman defender Roni Spektor (Israel) and sophomore midfielder Saul Sosa (San Marcos High) were honorable mention.
The Vaqueros went 10-4-6 this year and made the Southern Cal Regional for the third straight year. They were seeded No. 8 and dropped a tough playoff opener to Santa Ana, tying the Dons 2-2 through 120 minutes, then losing on penalty kicks.
