Antelope Valley knocked down nearly 60% of its shots in the second half on Friday en route to an 87-66 win over SBCC at the Moorpark Crossover.

The Marauders (5-12) led 38-30 at halftime and 61-48 after three quarters. They shot lights-out in the fourth with a 24-7 start that stretched the lead to 30 points, 85-55. AVC hit 10-14 in the fourth period (71.4%) while the Vaqueros were 5-15 (33.3%).

Aaliyah Pauling had 16 points for Santa Barbara (12-5), which had its four-game win streak snapped. Meagan Moore added 10 points and seven rebounds and Sierra Cavaletto had nine points off the bench.

Malaiya Patton hit 4-7 from 3-point range and led the Marauders with 23 points. Sasha Duckett added 22 points, nine rebounds, five assists and five steals.

AVC shot 51.5% for the game and held the Vaqueros to 35.5% shooting.

Lauren Noggle had five points and eight rebounds for SBCC.

"They shot the lights out," said Vaquero coach Sandrine Krul. "It came down to them hitting over 50% and us having a hard time finding the flow of the game."

The Vaqueros will open their 10-game WSC North schedule on Saturday, Jan. 19 at No. 13 Ventura with tip-off at 7 p.m.
