Alexa Bleth shot a season-best 78 on Sunday and is tied for fourth after the first round of the North-South Invitational women's golf tournament at Morro Bay GC.
Pratima Sherpa carded an 82 and Paris White shot 92 for SBCC. The Vaqueros are seventh in the 13-team field at 345.
Defending state champion Canyons is the leader at 319. Saddleback (326), Reedley (329) and Sierra (332) are in second, third and fourth place. Morro Bay GC will also be the site of the CCCAA State Championships on Nov. 17-18.
Canyons' teammates Jessie Lin and Haruka Koda are 1-2 in the individual competition at even-par 72 and 1-over 73. Katie Stribling of Saddleback is third with a 75.
The final round will take place on Monday morning.
