Karin Nordin

 
A former All-WSC goalie for the Vaqueros in 2014, Nordin joined the Vaquero coaching staff for the 2019 season. She's working with the Vaquero men's and women's goalies and also serves as an Athletic Program Assistant.
 
She graduated with her Masters from Rutgers University-Newark. She was an assistant women's soccer coach at Rutgers-Newark in 2018, helping head coach Ariana Ruela in all aspects of the program.
 
Nordin, who grew up in Sundsvall, Sweden, received her Associates of Arts in Marketing, Communications and Political Science from Santa Barbara City College and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations/Affairs from San Francisco State University.
 
Nordin played collegiately at Santa Barbara and San Francisco. She was a CCCAA Academic All-State squad honoree in 2015, earning Inspirational Leadership awards at both institutions. She was first-team All-WSC as a goalie at SBCC in 2014 while making the President's Honor Roll in 2013, 2014 & 2015.

Nordin worked actively as an assistant coach at San Francisco under Tracy Hamm and Valerie Henderson, and she worked all over the United States coaching for One Soccer Schools. A goalkeeper by trade, Nordin was a coach for the World Cup Soccer Camps, Peninsula United and Sundsvalls Gymnasium in Sweden.
