Kelly Coulson had a perfect day on Thursday, leading SBCC to a 9-0 rout of Antelope Valley in a WSC women's tennis match at Pershing Park.

The Vaqueros swept the doubles with a 24-5 game record and swept the six singles with a 72-13 game record.

SBCC won its 11th in a row to improve to 11-1 overall and 8-0 in conference. They've won 23 straight WSC matches, dating back to April of 2018. AVC is 2-6 and 1-6.

The Vaqueros are 6-1 at home with six straight victories.

Coulson, a freshman from San Marcos High, blanked Kristi Henderson 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles and combined with former San Marcos teammate Maura Mannix for an 8-0 win in No. 1 doubles.

Moruya Harvey, a freshman from Bend, Oregon, made her season debut at No. 6 singles and knocked off Marbella Rubio 6-2, 6-1.

"Everybody won in straight sets," said Vaquero coach Christina Klein, who's 42-10 in two-and-a-half seasons. "Kelly was sharp at No. 1, winning all three of her sets without losing a game. Moruya made her debut and played really well by finishing points at the net."
