The conference pairs tournament was a great success for SBCC Beach Volleyball!
Coach Ariana Garner said, "All six of our teams battled all weekend!"
The 1s pair played stellar beach volleyball all weekend, with a perfect record, and took 1st place overall. Emma Crabbe and Olivia Medina are the WSC conference pairs champs and our conference MVPs. This is Emma Crabbe's second year winning this title. The pair was also named co-conference pair of the year along with Ventura's 1s team.
The 2s pair of Karoline Ruiz and Jaceline McKie finished solid in 4th place and will be going to the SoCal pairs regionals tournament.
The Vaqueros' 3s pair of Irey Sandholt and Paige Rudi lost a tough match in the contenders' bracket to a solid Moorpark 1s team, knocking our 3s out of the top six.
