RIVERSIDE – The SBCC men's golf team had another impressive showing in the Riverside Invite on Monday at Victoria Country Club, taking second place for the third straight tournament – this time, competing in a 16-team field.
Ryan Gay continued the excellent start to his sophomore season, tying for first place overall carding a 72. As a team, the Vaqueros finished with a score of 377, tops among WSC schools and just six strokes out of first place.
Murphy Scott (75), Caleb Rodriguez (76), Henry Havemose (77) and Jacob Aaron (77) backed Gay up with strong performances of their own, all finishing within two strokes of each other.
