SAN DIMAS – The SBCC men's golf team posted a team score of 390 in WSC #6 at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course this past Monday behind a pair of top-5 individual finishes from. Sophomore Ryan Gay finished in the top three for the second straight competition to lead the Vaqueros, carding a 1-over 73 to tie for third.
Fellow sophomore Caleb Rodriguez had an excellent showing as well, finishing just one shot behind Gay with a 74 to tie for fifth overall.
Four other Vaqueros competed, with Finn Judge (80) and Murphy Scott (81) finishing third and fourth on the team, respectively. Jacob Aaron (82) and Jon Medina (84) rounded out SBCC's lineup.
Santa Barbara finished just four strokes shy of earning its sixth straight second-place team finish. The Vaqueros return to action on Monday, Apr. 3 for WSC #8 at Bakersfield Country Club.
