SANTA BARBARA – The SBCC women's basketball team (13-10, 6-3) blew out an opponent 83-49 for the second time in four games, defeating LA Pierce (2-22, 1-7) easily at home for its fourth win in five conference games.

A balanced effort saw the entire Vaquero roster hit the floor, as SBCC's bench filled it up for 53 of the 83 points. Freshman Kiani Rojas exploded for a season-best 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting. Fellow guard Natalie Bautista added 10 points and five boards, while freshman forward Aislinn McKelvy went for seven points, three assists and two steals.

Sophomore guard Isabella Favazzo led the starters with 12 points and six rebounds, hitting 4-of-8 from three-point range. Isabella Jensen Williams had a relatively quiet scoring day, but continued to fill it up in a myriad of ways with six points, five rebounds, four assists, five steals and three blocks.

Santa Barbara set a season-high with 15 made three-pointers on its most attempts (46) of the year. It was the third time in four games that the Vaqueros defeated an opponent by more than 20 points.
