Two Top-3 Scores Highlight Vaquero Women's Golf Outstanding Week 2 Showing

SAN DIMAS, CA – In its second competition of the year Monday at San Dimas Golf Course, the SBCC women's golf team finished in second place once again with a team score of 355, just eight strokes behind first place College of the Canyons (347).

WSC Standings: Team | Individual

Carlee Steven finished second in the WSC standings last year and that's exactly where she finds herself through two weeks this season after leading the Vaqueros with a 77 at WSC #2.

Fellow sophomore Ginger Libby has been outstanding as well, with her 83 at San Dimas good for third overall on the day and placing her at No. 3 in the WSC standings with an average score of 82.50.

Freshmen Megan Duncan and Emily Ruiz both finished in the top-17. Duncan carded a 96 to finish in a tie for 12th-place, while Ruiz shot a 99 and tied for 17th.
