CHINO, CA – The SBCC women's golf team was led this week once again by sophomore Carlee Steven, who finished seventh overall on Monday at the CCCAA So Cal Regional Championships at El Prado Golf Course in Chino, CA.
Steven finished the two-day tournament with a score of 159 (80/79), posting the fifth-best second round score on Monday.
Joey Fletcher shot a 171 (87/84) to tie for 17th overall and Emily Ruiz tied for 25th with a 182 (89/93). Steven and Fletcher both qualified for the CCCAA State Championships with their performances.
Saddleback's Nicole Whipple won the competition by four strokes carding a 140 (68/72), leading her team to a top score of 637 (317/320).
