SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – For the first time this season, the SBCC women's soccer team (7-5-3, 3-2-3) ended a match without a single goal being scored, ending its trip to Cuesta (3-9-1, 2-4-2) on Tuesday in a 0-0 tie.

The Vaqueros put up a season-high 30 shots – four more than in any other game this season and the most in their last 19 contests.

Despite the scoreless outing, SBCC is now on a five-game unbeaten streak. The Vaqueros have earned three clean sheets over that stretch, and have shutout five teams over their last nine. They allowed just two shots on goal for Cuesta, which both resulted in saves for goalkeeper Analea Pule.

Following the one-game trip away from home, Santa Barbara returns to La Playa Stadium for its final two home matches next week. The Vaqueros next matchup will be against LA Pierce on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
