VENTURA – The SBCC women's swim and dive team returned to action with another first-place team finish at WSC #2 on Saturday hosted by LA Valley.
The Vaqueros got another huge day from freshman Isabella Urlando, who finished top-two in a trio of events including taking first place in both the 200 backstroke (2:08.14) and 400 medley relay (4:14.83) alongside Lexi Persoon, Marilyn Weaver and Makenna Bloom.
Bloom also took second in the 50 freestyle (25.38). Freshman Bella Straley also had a notable day, taking third in both the 200 free (2:09.67) and 500 free (5:45.55).
As a team, Santa Barbara finished 35 points ahead of second place Santa Monica.
