High School: Attended Palm Desert High where she was on the varsity swim team for 3 years and the varsity water polo team for four years. She was varsity team captain for swim and water polo her senior year. She went to CIF for swim as a sophomore and junior. In water polo, she won a CIF title her junior year and reached the CIF final as a senior. She was named most inspirational her senior year of water polo and most valuable player her freshman year. She was also named most inspirational on the swim team in her sophomore year.

2015: Alina was a late addition to the program this year and has truly been a blessing. “ She is dedicated, works hard, and always displays great character" says Coach Roth. "She's a great addition to the program who I look forward to working with for the next year and a half.”

Personal: Born September 25, 1997 in San Bernardino, Calif. She moved to Palm Desert in 4th grade and stayed there until moving to Santa Barbara this past year to enroll at SBCC. She has been swimming since 4th grade and been playing water polo since 8th grade. She enjoys being in the water and being able to play the sports she loves. Outside of sports, she loves being at the beach and going on adventures with friends.
