High School: Attended Valhalla High in a suburb outside of downtown San Diego where she was a three-year varsity swimmer. She served as team captain her senior year and was a finalist in CIF all three years. During her time on varsity, she was awarded the "Most Improved," "Most Valuable Player," and "Coaches Award". She played water polo her senior year and was named the "Most Improved" JV player. She graduated with honors and was in the top 25% of her graduating class.

Personal: Reese Ellestad was born on February 18, 1997 in San Diego, Calif. Majoring in communications and minoring in environmental studies, she hopes to work for a company and help them become more sustainable in their endeavors. Outside of SBCC water polo, she enjoys hiking, listening and hanging out at the beach.
